DIAGNOSTIC REPORT: This document does not constitute an absolute commercial recommendation. Adhering to our core principle of evidence-based auditing, Directsales Infrastructure Labs has subjected the Proton for Business suite to an isolated sandbox environment to evaluate its real-world viability as a cryptographic control layer for enterprise architectures.

Below, we break down the operational results of the suite, analyzing its mitigation capabilities and backend integration complexity:
Audit Parameters and Laboratory Testing
Our technical evaluation focused on three critical application layer vectors, analyzing the feasibility of mitigating infrastructure risks without introducing additional attack vectors:
1. Email and DNS Authentication Vector
We evaluated the behavior of cryptographic routing using Zero-Access encryption. The analysis focused on the persistence of PGP public keys during payload exchange between domains and the hardening of perimeter DNS records. We verified strict alignment of SPF policies, DKIM signatures, and DMARC record consistency in reject mode to mitigate spear-phishing attacks using Proton Mail.
2. Storage and Immutability Vector
We subjected the Proton Drive client to data transfer tests from a test endpoint inside our LAN. The goal was to measure client-side end-to-end encryption latency and evaluate file synchronization stability against controlled network interface failures, analyzing its viability as an isolated backup solution against local ransomware compromisation.
3. Identity and Credential Management Vector
We audited central vault integration using Proton Pass, testing the deployment of hardware security keys as a second authentication factor (2FA). We evaluated active session resistance against token hijacking vectors within isolated mobile environments.
Next Sandbox Phases
The suite remains under monitoring within our testing infrastructure. Once data transfer stress cycles and public key propagation tests are finalized, we will evaluate the feasibility of its integration into production environments.
